Delete your ALAFUA account

You can request deletion of your ALAFUA account and associated personal data either from the signed-in ALAFUA app or through this public page.

Request deletion in the app

When you can sign in, open your ALAFUA account/settings area and choose Delete account. Follow the confirmation steps to submit the request.

Request deletion without the app

  1. Email alafua.services@gmail.com with the subject ALAFUA account deletion request.
  2. Include the email address or phone number linked to your ALAFUA account. Do not send passwords, verification codes or identity documents in your initial email.
  3. ALAFUA support will verify ownership and explain the steps and timing for handling your request.

If no mail app opens, copy the email address above and use any email service. Opening a draft does not send the request.

When to expect a response

We aim to acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days after verifying account ownership. If active work, a legitimate retention requirement, a legal/security hold, or another issue affects completion, we will explain it and provide an update.

What your request covers

Your request covers the ALAFUA sign-in account and associated personal information that is no longer required, which may include profile/contact details, saved service addresses, property or vehicle information, uploaded documents/photos, and request/support history.

Deletion of ALAFUA does not delete your Google account. Once the ALAFUA account deletion process is completed, the deleted customer account is not intended to be reactivated from retained records.

Records that may need to be retained

Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, contractual, or backup-expiry reasons. Protected backups may retain information until the relevant backup reaches the end of its normal retention lifecycle. Where applicable, support will explain the categories that cannot yet be removed and the reason.
